We very much look forward to welcoming you to the 2018 NSW AOA Annual Scientific Meeting to be held at the Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley from Friday 3 August to Saturday 4 August. For the first time in many years the meeting will be held out of Sydney and over 2 days.
The Friday afternoon session will comprise instructional course lectures and technique tips covering a wide gamut of orthopaedic surgeries.
This session is expected to be well attended by the Orthopaedic Registrars.
On Friday evening there will be a casual barbecue dinner for all delegates and their families.
The Saturday morning session will be the traditional scientific programme of open papers allowing trainees, non-trainees and Orthopaedic Surgeons to present their scientific research projects.
The Saturday afternoon plenary session will focus on controversial and poignant areas of orthopaedics including ethics of orthopaedics in the 21st century, orthopaedic outreach, doctors’ health and medicolegal disasters and how to avoid them.
There will be a conference dinner on the Saturday evening, and Sunday will be left open to explore the many and varied sights of the Hunter Valley.
The meeting is very much designed to be family friendly, and we encourage all delegates to attend with their partners and children.
We very much look forward to seeing you at the 2018 NSW AOA Branch ASM.
